Relativity and the Twin Paradox

Hi, again. It’s been about a year since I last posted anything here, but I decided to do a minor update because I recently saw that people have been visiting since that last post. So, this post is for you guys. I hope you will let me know through the comments or otherwise whether or not any of these links or the book was helpful to you.

This is a link to the Project Gutenberg page where you can read Einstein’s Special and Continue reading

With Regards to the “Talking Stick”

Due to the cheap-seat blog ownership status with WordPress and the limitations that provides, there is not, to my knowledge, a way by which to field your comments, questions, etc. directly, whether forum or comment board style. This leaves me with few other options. My solution is to post on this site as planned, with various links related to the scatterbrained subjects of the book. I will try to make sure I cover all of the topics brought up in the book that might lead to questions, and then you may locate the post most related to your questions or comments and comment from there. Consider each post I make as the start of a forum thread, and we will go from there. If you cannot find a post related to your question please say so in a post that at least comes close and I will try to make a post about your specific request, since someone else may have the same question. Also welcome are recommendations of another method by which to field questions that might be better/ more efficient. Help me help you. Help me help you. That’s the motto here.

Six Day Science

Here’s the first link! This is one of the sites I reference in Chapter 5 of the book. It is called Six Day Science, and, as promised, it has a nifty PowerPoint that should be helpful with explaining some aspects of Relativity, should I have been too ineloquent in the book. In the book, I disagree with this site regarding what their view seems to imply about the introduction of death into the world as opposed to what Genesis says about it. I still think that this slideshow and info will be helpful anyway because of visuals and the (possibly) added credibility of people with shiny doctorates in these fields, who I really only seem to disagree with in regard to certain details. Obviously, those details can make a big difference, but whatcha gonna do? So, I hope you enjoy or something like it. Ciao!

Huzzah! Eureka!

What ho, everyone! This is the first official post on the first official day that the book, The Existence of Light, is available for purchase. If you have found yourself here unaware, that is what this site is about. If you have arrived here on purpose, a second “What Ho!” to you. This site will be used in two ways. I will post links, articles, names, and other assorted things that I referenced in my writing of this book, including a second round of links for many of the things that I linked footnotes to in the book. The other purpose for this site is to be a place where you can communicate with me about questions, concerns, and all of the other available points of conversation that I listed at the end of the book. The rules for your communication can be found here on the ABOUT page of this site. I will do my best to respond to those of you who would like response, those who I am capable of responding to, and, of course, only to those who post in the form of a question conforming to the standards found on the above ABOUT page. Until then, or in the case that there are no questions, I will continue to use this site for the first and above mentioned purpose: links. So, thank you again for those of you who bought this book. Thank you even more to those who read or tried to read this book. Thank you exceedingly and gushingly more so to those who read this book and still deign to associate with me.

Fondly,

Matthew
